MIMLS hosts the 7th AAMLS Congress Post-pandemic

Laboratory scientists across Asia and beyond gathered in one of the biggest scientific events in the region as Malaysian Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MIMLS) hosted the 7th Congress of Asia Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists in conjunction with the 32nd National Scientific Conference of MIMLS on the October 9-12, 2023 at World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The four-day international congress featured keynote lecture, plenary lectures, symposia, student forum and poster presentations on all the major disciplines of medical laboratory sciences. An Asian Symposium as well as AAMLS Board Meeting and General Meeting of Representatives was also held in conjunction with congress.

It is noteworthy that AAMLS Congress was first held in Kuala Lumpur in 2001, and is back after more than two decades. The 8th AAMLS Congress will be hosted by Taiwan Association of Medical Technologists (TAMT) in 2025.
