AAMLS Holds Series of International Webinars Amidst Pandemic

Not even COVID-19 pandemic prevented the Asia Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (AAMLS) country members from organizing series of international webinars that aim to provide continuous learnings to medical laboratory scientists across the Asian and other regions despite the challenges encountered during the time of COVID-19 pandemic.

True to its commitment, AAMLS, led by its Chairman Dr. Eddie Ang, from Singapore, continues to be the conduit in sharing new information and ideas as well as best practices in medical laboratory science that could be very helpful in addressing various concerns related to COVID-19 pandemic.

Host countries utilized modern technologies to bring forward the scientific lectures to participants through different virtual platform.

First to take the challenge in organizing the webinar was the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET) led by then President and AAMLS 1st Vice-Chair, Mr. Ronaldo Puno. It was held on October 23, 2020 with theme: “Recent Strategies in Combatting COVID-19”.
