Thailand Hosts 6th AAMLS Congress

The 6th edition of the Asia Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (AAMLS) Congress will be hosted by Association of Medical Technologists in Thailand (AMTT). This will be held at Ambassador City Jomtien, Pattaya, Thailand.

Inspired by this year’s theme “Breakthrough in Medical Technology”, the Congress expects to gather hundreds of laboratory professionals from various parts of Asia as well in other parts of the world.

An impressive line-up of scientific sessions such as Cancer Immunotherapy, Antimicrobial Resistance, Precision Medicine and a lot more, will be given by highly respected invited speakers from different parts of the world, representing a well-balanced program on various areas of laboratory practice. An extensive diagnostic exhibits will be one of the highlights wherein latest cuttingedge technologies will be showcased.

Dr. Man-gil Yang, AAMLS Chairperson, in his message said: “I hope that this beautiful city will be able to conduct an academic research and exchange with each other and become a place of harmonization among Medical Technologists, professors, researchers and multinational companies”.

On the other hand, Dr. Salakchit Chutipongvivate, AMTT President, invited delegates with her words: “The Congress plays a role in promoting and sharing medical sciences and medical technology knowledge. Moreover, the conference brings about interesting advances in technology not only in Thailand but also in other Asian countries.”

The event coincides with the 43rd Annual Conference of Medical Technologists of hailand.

The next Congress will be staged in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2021.
