MIMLS hosts the 7th AAMLS Congress Post-pandemic

Laboratory scientists across Asia and beyond gathered in one of the biggest scientific events in the region as Malaysian Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MIMLS) hosted the 7th Congress of Asia Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists in conjunction with the 32nd National Scientific Conference of MIMLS on the October 9-12, 2023 at World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

PAMET Hosts AAMLS 7TH International Webinar on Biorisk Management

The Asia Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists and the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, in collaboration with the Biorisk Association of the Philippines, hosted the 7th AAMLS International Webinar on Biorisk Management on June 3, 2023 with the theme "Keeping Laboratories Safe and Secure In the Post-pandemic Era". Five renowned speakers from Singapore and Philippines delivered relevant and timely topics related to post-pandemic biosafety practices.

AAMLS Board Joins 14th APFMLS in Taiwan

The Board of Directors of AAMLS joined the Asia Pacific Forum of Medical Laboratory Science on April 22 to 23, 2023 at Chung Shan Medical University in Taichung, Taiwan, through the kind invitation of Taiwan Association of Medical Technologists President Te-Lung Tsai. This year’s theme was “Global Trend on Artificial Intelligence and Regenerative Medicine.

Thailand Hosts 6th AAMLS Congress

The 6th edition of the Asia Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (AAMLS) Congress will be hosted by Association of Medical Technologists in Thailand (AMTT). This will be held at Ambassador City Jomtien, Pattaya, Thailand.

Inspired by this year’s theme “Breakthrough in Medical Technology”, the Congress expects to gather hundreds of laboratory professionals from various parts of Asia as well in other parts of the world.

AAMLS Holds Series of International Webinars Amidst Pandemic

Not even COVID-19 pandemic prevented the Asia Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (AAMLS) country members from organizing series of international webinars that aim to provide continuous learnings to medical laboratory scientists across the Asian and other regions despite the challenges encountered during the time of COVID-19 pandemic.

PAMET’s “Caring for the Carers”: Serving Filipino Medical Technologists and Frontliners

Now that the whole world is fighting against the pandemic brought about by COVID-19, the Philippine Association of Medical Technolgists (PAMET), with its local chapters nationwide, are called upon to do our share, in our own little way, to show how we care for everyone. And we are proud that PAMET is at the forefront.

In response, the professional organization was at the helm in initiating several activities directed towards advocacy, health promotion, and members’ assistance and benefits since the early stage of the crisis.
